Open access policy

The content published in the peer-reviewed journal Innovacion, Saber y Capacitacion Profesional is open access from the moment of its publication, allowing the free, immediate and permanent availability of scientific knowledge. This policy promotes academic exchange, the international dissemination of research results and the strengthening of open science.

Innovacion, Saber y Capacitacion Profesional is open and free access, both for readers and for authors, providing immediate access to its content after publication.

All expenses, inputs and financing of Innovacion, Saber y Capacitacion Profesional come from the contributions made by DECAPROMÉX – Scientific Development and Professional Training of Mexico A.C.

No financial charge is contemplated either to publish or to access the material:

  • Authors can reuse and self-archive their post-print articles in databases, directories, repositories, etc.
  • Readers can download, read, print, distribute, cite, archive all articles free of charge without restrictions, after publication, citing the source: Innovacion, Saber y Capacitacion Profesional.

The authors retain the authorship rights and assign to the journal the right of the first publication, with the work registered under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) which enables:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: remix, transform and build from the material.

Under the following terms:

  • Attribution: You must give proper credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes have been made. You may do so in any reasonable way, but not in a way that suggests that you or your use is supported by the licensor.
  • Non-Commercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  • Share Alike: If you remix, transform, or create from the material, you must distribute your contribution under the same license as the original.
  • No Additional Restrictions: You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from making any use permitted by the license.

Authors may make other independent and additional contractual agreements for the distribution of the article published in this Journal (e.g., include it in an institutional repository or publish it in a book) as long as they clearly indicate that the work was first published in Innovacion, Saber y Capacitacion Profesional.
