Ethics and Good Practices Policy

Good editorial practices
Plagiarism: All manuscripts submitted will be analyzed using specialized similarity detection software (Turnitin). Proposals that exceed 10% similarity with external sources will not be accepted, except for correctly referenced citations.
Inappropriate authorship: Responsibility for the participation and order of authors lies exclusively with the authors themselves. The journal does not interfere in these aspects and will not allow changes to the number or order of authors once the editorial process has begun.
Redundant publication: Duplicate or fragmented publication is not accepted. If a redundant publication is detected, the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) will be applied.
Ethical violations and corrections: If ethical violations are detected at any stage (before, during, or after publication), the journal will act in accordance with the recommendations of COPE, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the Council of Science Editors (CSE). Measures may include rejection or retraction of the article, prohibition of future publications in the journal for the authors involved, notification to other journals, and communication to the relevant institutions (institution of origin, funding agency, professional associations, and ethics committees).

Declaration of originality and conflict of interest: Authors must declare that their work is original and free of conflicts of interest with third parties or institutions.
Penalties for plagiarism: Authors who engage in plagiarism—defined as the total or partial reproduction of content without proper citation—will be penalized with a six-year ban on publishing in the journal.
Prohibition of simultaneous submission: It is not permitted to submit the same article for evaluation in different journals at the same time.
Previous publication: If an article submitted to this journal appears published in another journal, the authors will be notified of its exclusion and will be disqualified from submitting articles for two years.
