Abstract

In higher education institutions, academic management and effective communication are fundamental pillars for the development of high-quality teaching processes. In this context, the objective of the present research was to identify gaps in process management at the Faculty of Administration, Finance, and Informatics, and to propose the formation of an academic brigade as a tool to improve management and communication in the teaching field. It was considered a field study, of a bibliographic and propositional nature. The diagnosis carried out revealed critical areas related to the existing infrastructure, a deficient communication system, student dropout, limited integration into social service programs, and a lack of implementation of entrepreneurship and integrative projects presented by the students. The identification of these problems highlighted the importance of implementing innovative solutions, which is why the proposal to create a university academic brigade is presented as a strategic tool that can transform the dynamics between students, teachers, and administrative staff. The brigade will not only facilitate a more fluid and direct communication channel, but it will also promote active student participation in academic management, empowering them to contribute to the continuous improvement of their educational environment. By addressing the identified gaps, this initiative has the potential to reduce dropout rates, foster an inclusive environment, and enrich students' civic education.
